ORANGE JELLY,LUSH XMAS.

so the last thing i wanted to get another piece from the lush Xmas collection 2013 was the orange jelly soap.

the piece i received when it came out last month had the jelly on top.this is good to run through the ends of the hair or swiping over the body as you get out the shower so it moisturises the body.
i have been waiting for a new soap to reach inshore one that was strong on scent,
as this is a non creamy base soap its not as lathering but it oozes fresh orange,made from freshly squeezed Brazilian oranges,orange oil,and fresh slices set in jelly on top.the problem is the jelly is so unset it slides everywhere and fills the staff face with horror when asked to slice.
i only wanted a bulk standard slice thankfully with no jelly to wrap up and stash for warmer months.

so this is my review of the first SO SUSAN- NAIL LACQUER subscription box.and i like how it has come,and will be trying over the next few months to see how it goes,

I've been waiting to get my hands on this range since  trialling the shop samples they were given.

this is a lovely hand scrub and also good for  getting those winter feet ready .

now i won a competition held on and via BATTLE OF THE BOXES group on Facebook and oh! organics for these lovely products.
i have been using the products daily to really give them a road test of sorts and they have nearly all been used up.
oh! organics is a natural organic company based in Cardiff wales in the UK.
they base there products on the natural front and make them in small batches ,the set i received was the Melissa range.

oh!Melissa moisturiser 60ml.
with infusions of lemon balm plants,cocoa butter,mango butter,infused in sweet almond oil.to this oh!organics have added kiwi seed borage,thistle seed ,jojoba oils.
the essential oils in the Melissa range are Melissa,geranium,jasmine,lemongrass,neroli,
all these help maintain the skin and balance it out.

oh!Melissa toner. 50ml.
a light and refreshing gentle scented alcohol free toner.
this toner is made from flower waters,made from distilled extractions of essential oils.
added to these are lemon balm,geranium,orange flower water,witch hazel,glycerin.you can use this on a cotton pad after cleansing or feel free to spritz over your face anytime.

trio of lip balms.
these are made in small batches as well.natural organic ingredients and vegetarian approved,there vegan range uses wax from candelilla shrub a native from new Mexico.
these balms are blended with aloe butter and sweet almond oil.the flavours i got were.
tangerine- vitamin A,B,C,E,B12,FOLIC ACID
Mandarin-Mandarin essential oils.
raspberry-raspberry flavouring,
these glided on so well and was also so moisturising i have kept one back purely for the really cold wet and windy weather when it arrives.

oh!organics vegan lip balms

so overall i really enjoyed using these products and loved the chance to use them.my skin is feeling lovely and soft and the scent lingered on me for hours.i will buy again and also my try there soaps they also produce,the moisturiser sank into the skin well and left it feeling non greasy,it perked my skin up .
i would also say thank you to Gaynor at BATTLE OF THE BOXES for getting us all to enter the competition and thank oh!organics for the prize,loved it.

OCTOBER GLOSSYBOX.

so my October Glossybox arrived the other week.i was going by the theme of
                                                                      dark romance
so when i was waiting for my box to arrive i was thinking blacks ,plums,purples,Gothics,dark themes.
on opening my box. OH BOY WAS I WRONG.
i put my box away and not looked at it since.i thought i was so underwhelmed by it,but since others have posted and commented i feel I'm not the only one.

so i decided to go back to my box and re look at it in another  go.
I'm still not impressed as in the theme as it is just a poor box.either they got lost in there thinking or what.but nothing screams DARK ROMANCE,i was expecting a lip product ,a nail product, for an instance.
i also think the picture they posted everywhere of the front page of there glossy page was rather misleading as others have pointed out.
so here is my box.

a cheek and lip stain,use 2 coats.and long lasting.

KATY PERRY killer queen fragrance  1.5ml. 

i got this in the miss glossy box  so really didn't want another and had un ticked on my profile.

has notes of plum,wild berry,bergamot,praline,jasmine.

MONU,illuminating primer,  20ml. paraben free,vitamin E ,this is a light primer which can be used on its own as a tinted moisturiser,or under make -up.

PREMAE,multi vit smoothie sérum,  20ml. 

allergen free brand.this serum is good for combination skin,and added grape seed gives a matte and shine free look.

VITA LIBERATA ,latte illuminating skin finish, 2x 30ml.

SPF 25,medium bronzing cream,

so this is my box and  i still don't feel any wow,I'm sorry but this is a thumbs down this month.

this month glossy magazine was lacking interesting articles as well ,usually a good read.

this lightweight coloured cream has an spf20 , contains anti-oxidants and vitamins.
i thought this would be so dark on me as I'm so fair skinned but once blended in is workable.

for use on all skin types ,i have used some others in the collection by this company and been impressed ,so this is being used in the morning at present.brightens the skin and reduces fine lines and discolouration.

provides heat resistant protection,and control,warm between your hands to use to get the heat started.

this 2-1 products has a lovely brush sponge applicator, added to the lips or the cheeks gives a gentle flushed look.
